Ben Carson to skip GOP debate, says he can't see 'path forward' in race

Republican presidential hopeful Ben Carson said Wednesday he'll skip Thursday night's debate, The Washington Post reports.

Though Carson said in a statement he doesn't see a "path forward" to the Republican Party's nomination, he didn't formally suspend his bid. Rather, Carson will speak to his future plans Friday at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Maryland.
