The Force Awakens just crushed Jurassic World's domestic opening weekend record

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is continuing to shatter records. The film brought in an estimated $238 million at the box office this weekend, making it the biggest domestic opening ever, Entertainment Weekly reports.

The previous record, $208.8 million, had just been set in June by another new installment from an old franchise: Jurassic World. Worldwide, The Force Awakens has pulled in $517 million so far.
