Israel's Isaac Herzog concedes defeat

Early Wednesday, Zionist Union leader Isaac Herzog said he called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to congratulate him on his victory in Tuesday's election. Netanyahu's Likud Party is projected to win 30 seats in the Knesset, or parliament, to the Zionist Union's 24 seats. Herzog suggested that he will lead the opposition, not form a unity government with Likud, saying that Israel needs "another voice, a voice that offers an alternative and a voice that tells it the truth."
