The Obama administration has reorganized its national security team, incorporating domestic security officials into an expanded National Security Council.

The Obama administration has reorganized its national security team, incorporating domestic security officials into an expanded National Security Council. The new arrangement will “allow the president to make better decisions even more rapidly,” said national security advisor James Jones, who will direct the combined staff of about 240 people. The White House will also create new offices for cybersecurity, weapons of mass destruction, and disaster preparedness.
