A young computer programmer died after spending up to 12 hours a day playing Xbox. His parents are now on a crusade to highlight the risks of marathon gaming

Chris Staniforth, a 20-year-old British "Xbox addict," died suddenly in May after a marathon session playing the Xbox game Halo. The untimely death prompted his father, David Staniforth, to launch a campaign warning other parents of the dangers of online video games. "Kids all over the country are playing these games for long periods," David says. "They don't realize it could kill them." Just how risky is marathon gaming?
