1. Alec Baldwin says he's really serious about quitting Twitter this time

If Alec Baldwin's decision to quit Twitter in the wake of an ill-advised fit of rage sounds familiar to you, that's probably because he's already done this at least three times. And like a moth to a flame, the actor has always ended up coming back. But according to Baldwin, he's really serious this time. "[Twitter] is all a waste of time. Meaning it's fun sometimes, but less and less," said Baldwin on Monday. He added that he will "never" use the social media platform again — but he didn't say anything about Facebook, so feel free to keep poking him. [USA Today]

2. The Butler is legally barred from being called The Butler

For months, the Weinstein Company has been promoting its upcoming historical drama about a butler who served eight U.S. presidents under the title The Butler, for reasons that are probably obvious. But on Tuesday, a judge ruled that The Butler's title needs to be changed because Warner Bros. holds the rights to a "similarly titled short" released in 1916 — an unfortunate conflict that would probably have confused any addled centenarians who stumbled into a movie theater next month. Though the news surely comes as a disappointment to the Weinstein Company, it does offer a chance to give The Butler a more accurate title, like Oscar Bait. [The New York Times]

3. CBS clarifies that it's neither racist nor homophobic

Relax, everybody: While a few of the contestants on CBS reality series Big Brother have been caught on camera making racist and homophobic remarks, the network wants to make sure you don't confuse it with the awful people it has rewarded with a massive media platform. "Big Brother is a reality show about watching a group of people who have no privacy 24/7 — and seeing every moment of their lives," said the network in a statement, adding that show's contestants "do not represent the views or opinions of CBS or the producers of the program." Despite this non-apologetic apology, CBS has failed to take more concrete steps, like replacing the offending parties with contestants who don't routinely say racist and homophobic things. 4. That Saved By the Bell comic you've been dreaming about is finally here

When NBC sitcom Saved By the Bell was canceled after 86 measly episodes in 1993, fans were forced to imagine what Zack Morris, Kelly Kapowski, and Screech were doing with the rest of their lives. But never fear, Bell-Heads: The Bayside High School gang is getting back together for a host of new adventures in an upcoming digital comic series by Lion Forge Comics, which will also adapt other old TV shows like Airwolf, Knight Rider, and Punky Brewster. In an interview with Mashable, a representative from NBCUniversal's licensing department said that the network is "excited to give fans a chance to revisit some of their favorite shows and characters." 5. Beyonce washed down an In-n-Out burger with some champagne

If you needed any more proof that Beyonce lives the good life, look no further: In a recent Instagram post, the pop star sent out a picture of herself sitting down with a burger and fries from beloved West Coast chain In-n-Out Burger — and complementing the meal with a tall flute of champagne.
