Obama's thoughts: You know with a little more gold trim and bigger jewels on the hat, it's not bad. Put the columns on each side with about 50 flags in the center and a bigger seal, it'll be just right for me.

I really don't know whether Obama is going to embrace or reject the concept of the "unitary executive". But, truly it is not for the President to push back. It is Congress that MUST reclaim the rightful powers of the legislative branch. And as a Democratic Congress they can rightfully claim that they are NOT doing it for partisan reasons but for the health of a strong FEDERAL government.
