John and Elizabeth Edwards have separated, a source tells the New York Post. The report comes after Elizabeth began appearing in public without her wedding ring. Elizabeth Edwards recently began making speeches for the first time since her husband admitted an affair with Rielle Hunter, who shot videos for his presidential campaign. Edwards has denied that he is the father of Hunter’s baby, though The National Enquirer has reported that Hunter says the child is his.

Posted by Dorothy, Friday, November 14, 2008, 9:40 am I feel for Mrs. Edward and their family. He has truly broken their hearts. She did what she had to. May God watch over her and her family.

Posted by Kam, Monday, November 17, 2008, 2:13 pm What terrific luck for the dems! Now John can accept a post on BO's cabinet or staff. He was looking too reputable before this affair, and now he fits right in with the same character and morals of the dems. I hate to see anyone die from cancer but Elizabeth was no sweetheart during John's run for the nomination. She blasted everyone with some rather nasty comments and snide remarks. I hope she finds some peace in her remaining days. Incidentally, what is she making speeches about?

Posted by Glenda Foster, Thursday, August 20, 2009, 4:46 pm Elizabeth, my heart breaks for you. However, due to your health, you MUST pull a Scarlett O'Hara....Think about it only tommorrow.. and each new day only tomorrow. My sister is North Carolina Jackie Jenkins in Raliegh NC is battling reoccuring triple negative breast cancer and it is so important to remain positive. She is alone except for her children as her husband went astray years ago...and I to lost my husband to another woman after 30 years of marriage. I know how your heart aches...therefore only have great thoughts.
