A recent Gallup poll found that 71 percent of Republicans would consider voting for former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee in 2012 — compared with only 65 percent for his heavyweight rivals Mitt Romney and Sarah Palin. Is "Huck" officially the frontrunner for the GOP presidential nomination? (Watch Mike Huckabee deliver a September speech that criticizes the Obama administration)

Huckabee is building momentum: The governor-turned-Fox News host "should be considered the early favorite" for 2012 says Alexander Mooney on CNN. Building on his "consistent" success in the polls, Huckabee is embarking on a book tour through "some of the country’s most conservative townships" that should help shore up that base, especially in "politically important Iowa."
"Huckabee suggests Palin double standard"

Gallop's poll under-represents Palin's base:
Huckabee could interview "live extraterrestrials" on Fox and still receive only a "fraction" of the "sustained media attention" lavished on his rival Sarah Palin, says Dr Zero at Hot Air. Palin, who also has a new book to promote, has shown a "willingness to take risks" and "stand her ground under fire." Sorry Mike, but "those are qualities Republican voters will be looking for."

Huckabee can't raise money "at this level": Polls don't matter, says Max Twain at Race42012.com, given Huckabee's “inability” to raise funds. However charming, Huck will be a "tough sell" to GOP voters in 2012 when he'll have to face the "billion dollar Obama Machine."

Posted by Moderate, Tuesday, November 10, 2009, 4:00 pm If I receive one more robocall from Huckabee, I am calling the police.I have already called senators and congressman and everyone else I know. His call is ostensibly a poll but turns out to be a fundraiser for antichoice. He asks if you are Prolife. hmmm no...then I must be Antilife? Who is antilife Huck? Get a real job Huckabee and leave me alone!

Posted by Yoon, Tuesday, November 10, 2009, 5:13 pm Mike Huckabee has the intellect, the experience, and the wisdom to make a great President. He is opposed by the worst elements of his own party who were responsible for the economic mess in this country. They know he would stop the corruption because he would not sell out. America needs Mike Huckabee.

Posted by Nick, Tuesday, November 10, 2009, 7:10 pm Huckabee did more with less in 2008, money wise, rising from a second tier candidate to the last one standing before the nomination was secured by McCain. Romney outspent him 10 to 1. What the fundraising reports don't compute are the grassroots foot soldiers who volunteer in Huckabee's campaigns.

Posted by Huckapedia, Tuesday, November 10, 2009, 7:13 pm FACT: Mike Huckabee WILL be the President in 2012.Two PhD professors in Astrophysics correctly predicted the 2004 and 2008 Presidential Elections. They used advanced statistics called Alogrithms, commonly used by Super Computers to make highly accurate predictions. Presidential election data dating back from 1789 to 2000 was used to calcluate their predictions.Their 2012 predicted winner is..... Mike HuckabeeHuckabee's gigantic network of fans in 50 States keeps expanding at a rapid pace.Just google the words: Huckabee Fan Club

Posted by zeek, Tuesday, November 10, 2009, 8:04 pm Fact: Mike Huckabee WILL be president because the N.C.B.W. National classical bedwetter think tank correctly predicted it. They used a comparison of Hucks spoonerisms with a scientific method of saline cotonfibroflavin ......Your intellectual reasoning fits perfect for your man.

Posted by Moderate, Wednesday, November 11, 2009, 8:55 am Zeeky, Zeeky, Zeeky....I am guessing you made some of that up, no? I know because you misspelled cottonfiroflavinB. Plus you forgot the Mayan Calendar predictions. Shame.

Posted by john, Friday, November 13, 2009, 1:18 am I think Mike Huckabee will the republican candidate in 2012. I supported Romney in 2008 although i had an affinity for John McCain because of his service. Palin isnt ready for the national stage yet, although I like her a lot on a personal level and she is great at rallying the base.Huckabee is a genuine man. I didnt support him at all in 2008, but he is growing on me, especially after watching some of his speeches recently and seeing him on the foxnews program he hosts. I think its Huckabee 2012. By then people will be looking for ordinary

Posted by Regina, Saturday, November 21, 2009, 4:41 pm I don't see me voting Republican but it is nice to know that At least Mike Huckabee still has some ethics intact and does not give in the disgusting racially motivated attacks on our president.
