Posted by Robert Dee, Saturday, November 7, 2009, 10:17 pm This is beyond much ado about nothing. He addressed the issue eloquently, and with the proper weight. Conservatives refuse to look at Obama as a legitimate president, and will continue to attack him no matter what he does. Whether it's this issue, or the President trying to encourage kids to stay in school . It doesn't matter. It is one this have a legitimate policy disagreements with a president, but this type of manufactured outrage speaks to something much deeper, and far uglier.

Posted by James T Barnes, Saturday, November 7, 2009, 10:51 pm Another sensless attack by the Republican Right against our duly elected President. I am 65 years old and I have never seen or heard of such continuing attacks from the far right in my life. When are these people going to accept that they lost last November and start supporting this Man in His efforts to bring this country together. The Republican far right does nothing but continue to bring this Great Nation down to their Low Level of careing for no one but themselves and the rich who support them.

Posted by Godless, Sunday, November 8, 2009, 2:19 am Let's discharge Muslim Soldiers out of the U.S. Armed Services. Would we have allowed men or women who openly suppored the SS during WW!! to serve as American Soldiers? This is just another example of Muslim Violence in a world full of Muslim violence. The world would ultimately be much better off if all religions were exsposed for the blood thirsty God they serve. Christian ,Jew alike.

Posted by Melissa, Sunday, November 8, 2009, 3:24 am I live overseas and didn't see any coverage firsthand, but judging from this video, yeah, Obama screwed up. Waiting two and a half minutes to even acknowledge what was going on seems clumsy at best. Is it a big deal? No, but it is indicative of sloppiness on his part.

Posted by yydd, Sunday, November 8, 2009, 3:43 am Yes all just like 8 years of attacks from the left against Bush presidency.

Posted by Ella, Sunday, November 8, 2009, 5:15 am Wow. The beginning was incredibly awkward and difficult to watch. Completely and totally disrespectful. It makes me sick.
