Iran: A blow against American arrogance
The U.S. richly deserved the 1979 takeover of its embassy in Iran, said the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting in an editorial. The place was a "den of espionage," where the Americans were planning a coup to topple the Iranian government. Remember, the U.S. had a long history of "hostile policies and historic interference" in other nations. It had already used its embassies to overthrow governments in Chile, Czechoslovakia, and Greece. Only the timely action by heroic Iranian students, who took the perfidious diplomats hostage for more than a year, prevented a similar coup here. That’s why every year we celebrate the anniversary of the storming of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran as "a day of combat against the world arrogance."

NOBODY in the middle east wants the israelis there, and with they act, why should they? i think that the u.s. ought to tell israel that if you start a war, you're on your own. they, like several presidents we've had have the GALL to tell other countries what to do while they do something else.

Obama hides behind a mask of visabilty. And I agree that we have to get our country back on track. Based on Godly principles and commandments as written in the Bible. US News makes Israel look like the victim way too much. Both Israel and Palestine have done a lot of crap, but to say Israel is the good side is a lie. Their religion teaches them that they are God's chosen, the elite of the world and all nonbelievers infidels are as low as dogs, animals to be killed or tortured with God's sanction. It's kinda ironic, since there are no dogs in Muslim countries...they are believed to be unclean. Personably, I don't trust anyone who doesn't like dogs. We can hope some Arab country pisses off Israel like the Egyptians. The U.S. won't do a thing.
