Kate Gosselin is broadening her television career, said Radar Online. The recently divorced co-star of Jon & Kate Plus 8 is filming the pilot for her new talk show—tentatively titled "Mom Logic"—which will "feature a mix of advice, health and beauty tips, plus celebrity gossip." Kate's co-host will be "Southern cooking expert" Paula Deen, and the show's first guest will be Mel B, who "endured a headline-making split from Eddie Murphy." Could be interesting, considering Kate and Mel B "both have a common bond of very public, and heartbreaking, breakups."
Kate Gosselin has "nothing to offer" daytime TV, said David Zurawik in the Baltimore Sun. She served as a guest host on The View this past week, and "seeing her sitting next to women of serious accomplishments like Whoopi Goldberg and Barbara Walters" was to "see her shrink almost from sight." And Kate has "another problem"—her "basic on-camera persona is not a friendly one."
Kate used to be "seen as a shrew that was exploiting her children" on Jon & Kate Plus 8, said Michele Johansen in Examiner.com, but she's "seen a change in public opinion" since her divorce from Jon Gosselin. And Kate "has a very open personality and that could translate very well in a talk-show setting."

Posted by cupucakeluvr, Saturday, September 19, 2009, 8:07 am maybe thsi new talk show will be a good chance for her to speak out and let everyone know that JON is really to blame for the divorce. she was only mean to him because he was a helpless parent who knew nothing about what needed to be done in order to run a family smoothly. she had to tell him what needed done on every episode and he still didn't do it right!
Posted by kad, Saturday, September 19, 2009, 11:03 am When will it end. The only reason Jon and Kate got so much attention was because of the trainwreck they made of their lives. The TLC show was about the children. Neither has any sense or what it takes to be in the TV industry. At least when real Stars get talked about in the tabloids when it dies down, they have their talent to fall back on. This has been the most ridiculous circus, I have ever seen unfold. Nothing they do will last, and everyone will move on to the next gossip magnet, and then what.

So now she is attempting to create a career outside of her children and we dig on her for that. Kate may be alot of things but has handled herself much better than her soon to be ex!

Lets not be so small minded about her and lets give her a chance. Maybe we'll get to see the real Kate and not the edited version!

Posted by Kathryn, Monday, September 21, 2009, 4:03 pm She is such a SHREW! Paula is on my NEVER AGAIN list. She sold out, but that's what she does. WHO CARES IF JON IS TO BLAME. She doesn't need a talk show to tell us that! THEY are both to blame, dummies. She was totally mean to him, and he is a lazy, gutless manchild. They NEVER should have had kids. Those poor children. Maybe the show can book OctoMom and they can compare notes about having too many kids that they cannot take care of or love. Paula knows about single moms, so they will be a pair. NOT. Bad idea, and the show will not last.
